Milhouse Introduces Fitness Fridays!

When it comes to fitness, some of the most common questions are:

  • How can I lose weight?
  • How can I gain muscle?
  • What foods should I eat, and which ones should I avoid?
  • What types of workouts should I do?

To answer those questions, Milhouse has introduced monthly Fitness Fridays for onsite and remote staff. Each Fitness Friday session features a wellness coach who presents nutrition facts and health tips. Some of the group sessions highlighted topics such as positive eating habits, recommended exercise routines, and overall nutrition tips. One of the most valuable presentations addressed the topic of “Undoing Desk Posture”, and how too many hours at the desk can affect your neck, shoulders and lower back. The coach then, showed examples of simple stretches to help negate these harmful effects.

Fitness Friday participants have also been treated to free chair massages and tasty (healthy) smoothies prior each meeting!
