Milhouse University Offers GIS Training Series

Milhouse University is offering our team members a GIS training series taught by our very own, Yousef Dana and Jack McDonald. The first session, on May 4^th, included an introduction to GIS and will be followed up by several sessions related to more in-depth GIS topics.

GIS is a framework that provides the ability to conceptualize and analyze spatial and geographical data. Our Milhouse training course will cover how GIS can be implemented into our workflow to advance our team’s effectiveness. The courses will cover the essentials of GIS mapping including data analysis and production on desktop, cloud, and mobile workspaces. Attendees learn how to geo-locate photos, utilize public data, create COVID-19 maps, and calculate data from imagery.
