Milhouse Ranks Among “Best” for Diversity
For the 11th consecutive year, Milhouse has won awards for creating a work culture that enriches and engages employees.
The Chicago’s 101 Best & Brightest Companies to Work For® award recognizes the best companies based on best practices for human resource programs such as compensation, work-life balance, and diversity.
This year, in addition to Milhouse’s rank among the top 101 companies in Chicago, the firm also won an Elite Award for a staff that reflects outstanding diversity.
Milhouse “actively reaches out to underserved populations to recruit and cultivate talent and, in 2015, boasted a staff comprised of nearly 50% of individuals who identified with an ethnic minority group,’’ WBBM radio personality Pat Cassidy said before announcing the Elite Award for Diversity and Inclusion given by the National Association of Business Resources (NABR). Milhouse earned one of 13 Elite awards.
“I’m humbled,” said Dolla Crater, Executive Vice President of Business Operations, “What this means is the employees of Milhouse Construction & Engineering embrace the core values of the company, and one of the key core values is diversity.”
Milhouse should be proud, said Jennifer Kluge, NABR President.
“(Milhouse) scored high in all categories to get an Elite Award, so Milhouse is truly the best and brightest!” Jennifer said.
