Cory White

Chief Legal Officer and Chief Operating Officer, Production & Delivery (Forestry, Services, Construction)

Cory White is Chief Legal Officer for Milhouse Engineering and Construction, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Cory directs and oversees the Legal Department, which is comprised of three branches – legal services, safety compliance, and training. In his role as Chief Operating Officer of Production & Delivery, Cory is focused on driving the day-to-day performance and long-term success of Milhouse Forestry, Milhouse Construction, and Milhouse Services.

Cory has been a transactional attorney for over 12 years and has worked on complex corporate transactions throughout his career and across various industries.  He has played a key role in drafting Illinois business legislation and has served on numerous boards and bodies related to education and development within the legal profession.  Cory began his career at Milhouse as Corporate Counsel in 2020 and transitioned to his current role as Chief Legal Officer in 2022.  In addition, Cory serves on the Board of Directors of Milhouse Engineering and Construction, Inc. and Milhouse Construction, Inc.

Cory is heavily involved in the local legal community, having served on the Board of Governors of the Illinois State Bar Association.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education and the Illinois Bar Foundation.  Finally, Cory enjoys teaching as an adjunct professor at the Chicago Kent College of Law where he teaches Securities Regulation.

In his free time, Cory loves to cook and enjoys spending time with his family, including their miniature dachshund, Barry Sanders White.
