Maryam Brown, PMP

Vice President, People & Culture and Operational Excellence

Maryam Brown is results-driven human resources professional with over 20 years of experience leading cultural transformation and process improvement initiatives. Her leadership focuses on developing and delivering systemic process improvements that support the commercial outcomes needed for high performing, high-growth, collaborative organizations.

She currently serves as the Vice President of People & Culture and Operational Excellence for the Milhouse family of companies. In her role, Maryam is responsible for driving sustainable programs geared towards a healthy culture which results in performance and growth targets of the organization.

Before joining Milhouse, Maryam has held Human Resource leadership roles at Daniels Health, WEC Energy Group, Integrys Energy Group and Blackwell Consulting Services.

Maryam is a proud graduate of the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University where she earned a B.S. in Business Administration. Maryam is also a certified Project Management Professional has been trained as a Proci (ADKAR) Change Management practitioner and has competed her studies in Six Sigma Black Belt Methodologies.  Outside of work, Maryam’s philanthropic focus is on education; she served nine years as a board member for the Chicago Foundation for Education, has held numerous leadership positions as a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and currently volunteers with Milhouse Charities.
