Today, Milhouse has over 225 team members, and it is the largest minority-owned engineering firm in the US and the largest African American-owned engineering firm in the world.
Interns at Milhouse Engineering and Construction learn how to use industry-leading software to flourish in the field and in the office. They also have opportunities to work on real projects with our team members who are experts in their fields. Interns also have the opportunity to explore different areas of the company so that they can find out what interests them most!
We provide competitive salaries for interns while providing valuable training that will help them get their foot in the door after graduation! Our internship program offers an opportunity for participants to get their foot in the door of the construction industry. They will be exposed to all aspects of our business including project management, design engineering, estimating and bidding. And we’ll help them find out what it takes to succeed as a professional engineer, consultant or architect in this competitive field.
Our current group of interns are learning the ends and outs of each industry we serve , logistics, the fundamentals of communication, project management and more. Our aim is to provide a well rounded and solid foundation that will allow all of our participants to build exceptional careers. We believe in the power of education, mentoring and exposure.
