Strong financial performance, along with rapid team member growth, secures Chicago-based engineering firm a high ranking on the list of top design firms in the Midwest  

CHICAGO, IL (May 24, 2023) – Milhouse Engineering and Construction, Inc. (Milhouse) has earned its highest spot to date on the Engineering News-Record Midwest (ENR Midwest) Top Design Firms annual list. Now sitting at spot number 44, Milhouse has jumped 14 spots since its previous ranking. The ENR Midwest Top Design Firms list ranks the most prominent design firms in the Midwest region, both publicly and privately held, based on design-specific revenue.  

Despite the slowing economy, the design firms in the eleven-state region have shown strong growth over the past year. Milhouse, with a ranking of 44 out of 116 companies, has notably expanded since its first appearance on the list in 2018, seeing a nearly 50% increase in revenue and a 29% increase in headcount over the past year alone.
