Milhouse Takes on the 2017 JP Morgan Corporate Challenge!

Last week marked Milhouse’ third year of participation in the annual J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge! Thousands of participants from hundreds of companies gathered in Chicago’s renowned Grant Park on Thursday evening, May 25, 2017.

Congratulations to team members, Ricardo Davila, Senior Electrical Design Engineer, and Sophia Aliotta, Assistant Civil engineer for having the fastest times of men and women on Milhouse’ team. Ricardo finished the 3.5 mile race in just 24 minutes and 4 seconds, and Sophia in 33 minutes and 58 seconds.

Sporting bold orange shirts, marked with the distinct crescent “M” on the front and the Milhouse vision on the back, #PositiveImpact, the Milhouse team certainly had a distinct presence throughout the competition. Thirty-five Milhouse staff members participated in this notable city wide event. Additionally, about a dozen staff and family members attended to support the team, while playing yard games and listening music. In celebration of completing the race, everyone returned to the Milhouse tent to relax and enjoy barbeque catered by Sweet Baby Ray’s.

Indeed the J.P. Morgan coincides with the company vision to “Be a Positive Impact: Improving communities around the world through innovative engineering.” A portion of the Corporate Challenge proceeds will be donated to a not-for-profit organization in Chicago.

Our team had a fantastic time and look forward to next year!
