Myesha McClendon Named Vice President of Aviation
Since 2002, Wilbur C. Milhouse III’s original vision for his company has evolved into the largest minority-owned engineering firm in the country. Today, Milhouse Engineering & Construction, Inc. is a recognized leader in engineering design across multiple industries.
Over 17 years ago, Milhouse was awarded its first sizable engineering and design project in aviation: the O’Hare Modernization Program (OMP) Runway 10C-28C. Since that project, our role in aviation has grown from being a sub-consultant to leading major projects. In fact, we’re the Engineer of Record and the Joint Venture Partner for the $8.5B O’Hare Global Terminal Project. Our exceptional growth has catapulted our engineering and design expertise in aviation onto the national stage.
As a result of this progress, we are pleased to announce that Myesha McClendon will transition into her new role as Vice President of Aviation. As a VP, she will lead a new engineering team that will primarily focus on the aviation industry. Myesha’s individual contributions over the past 15 years have been integral to our growth within the aviation industry. For instance, she has tirelessly worked to support her numerous OMP projects by collaborating with community leaders and pursuing business development in Chicago, Gary, Dallas, and Atlanta and on the East Coast.
Myesha will report directly to Joe Zurad, President of Engineering & Construction. And, she’s already started organizing and defining her new aviation team!
