Milhouse is a partner of the joint venture that provides sound insulation of home near O’Hare and Midway airports. The JV provides acoustical technicians, project managers, customer service representatives, project inspectors, installation contractors and support staff for the program.

The Residential Sound Insulation Program (RSIP) provides a better environment for the residents by sound insulating their homes, installing new doors and windows, and providing other improvements which reduce sound transmission. Currently, the program insulates an average of 1,200 homes per year.

It is one of the most successful resident focused programs in the history of the City of Chicago and is the largest such program in the country, with 96% of participating homeowners reporting they would recommend it to their family and friends.
