SBA Showcases Milhouse Mentorship

Milhouse Executive Vice President of Business Operations Dolla Crater and Susanne Hogan, dsi Associates President/Owner, recently presented at a United States Small Business Administration (SBA) Conference for mentors and protégés pursuing joint-venture relationships. Dolla and Susanne formed one of three mentor-protégé teams who spoke to more than 200 attendees at the conference outside of Washington, DC.

The event was designed to help mentor-protégé teams build networks; strengthen relationships; and develop business strategy. Mentoring firms is part of the Milhouse DNA, though it was never an SBA protégé, Dolla said.

“It’s in our makeup. We want to pass on what we learned and to give back,” Dolla said.

Susanne, named a 2015 Emerging Leader by the SBA, said she is excited about the relationship. “dsi believes a strong Mentor can assist us in building capacity and business processes to grow on the strong technical skills and client relationships that we already have established. We are excited that the Milhouse organization has signed on to assist us in this pursuit.”
