Milhouse “Spikes” the Competition!
The Milhouse Spikers looked great against the sand and surf of North Avenue Beach in 2016 while competing in league volleyball as part of the Chicago Sport and Social Club. Nine from across Milhouse departments participated once a week for six weeks into the playoffs, and made it through the first round.
Kyle Bailey, Executive Administrative Assistant, organized this year and looks forward to next. “I honestly had a good time each game I was out there. My teammates were always teaching me new methods to the game and it was just overall a fun atmosphere to be in,” he said.
The Chicago Sport and Social Club is the largest organizer of adult sports leagues, social events, and tournaments in the world, according to its website, hosting corporate sporting leagues throughout the city.
