This project focused on rehabilitation of several airfield lighting vaults located at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). Work included replacement of several of mechanical and electrical components serving the airfield lighting vaults’ ventilation, heating, and cooling systems.
Modifications to the airfield lighting vaults included replacing the HVAC units in the southwest airfield lighting vault, the northeast airfield lighting vault and the control and transformer rooms at the east airfield lighting vault. The project was performed entirely within the Airport Operations Area (AOA).
Milhouse Engineering & Construction, Inc. provided professional engineering services for the vault modification portion of the work. Specifically, Milhouse supplied the HVAC upgrades for the airfield lighting vaults.
