Damen Green Line Station

This new station will serve the west side of Chicago, closing the 1.5-mile gap between the existing California and Ashland Green Line Stations.

This hallmark station will also be positioned just north of the United Center and will serve as an additional transit option to and from events, easing congestion to other modes of transportation in the surrounding areas.

The station features a large public plaza at the corner of Damen Avenue and Lake Street, a glass-heavy architectural design, and an enclosed pedestrian bridge.

Milhouse’s scope includes the following:
» Coordination between the concurrent Lake Street Renovation project and
advanced foundation package.
» Preparation of plans, utility coordination, and coordination of streetscape exhibits
and plans to ensure minimal rework and schedule impacts.
» Design for ADA, drainage layout, lighting, plumbing, and HVAC systems,
underground and traffic control plans.
» Regularly attend design and client meetings to resolve outstanding design issues.
